Well the fenders are off and the primer is going
down, I just did the hood so far, but the door is
next and if I get real ambitious I might straighten
the fenders and re paint them too (origionals from 89)
I'm just useing some rattle cans, if it comes out real
nasty looking, I'll recoat it with a real can of auto
paint, and put it on with my brothers HVLP sprayer, I'll
have a nice base coat so it should look real fine.
I got to looking (uhh ohh) and it looks like I might be
able to widen the fenders without too much hacking,
I'm going to see if I can't add a wedge shaped piece
of sheet steel from the front and widening to 2-3" at
the rear of the fender, then another piece going down
to close up the gap between the fender and the door,
it would look like an open rear fender like on the Dodge
Viper ;D

I'm going to the stock Lt Blue, and I'm going to
add Flames too, I can't keep driving around with
a ZUKIWORLD.COM sticker on the windsheild and
having 3 different colors, the hood wasn't too bad,
but that red door, just sticks out too much.
And the server locked up cause I changed my name,
not my body color, so you better watch it, I'll change
from wildgoody to Wild ............. MuHu Ha haha

I monochromed mine too. Got tired of the Lime Green, Black Primer, Forest Green, Rust and body putty camo that it had on it. I used a couple rattlecans of Rustoleum Black Hammercoat and it came out pretty good. :)

Oh, Darrin, what have you DONE??? You should have gone to MORE colors, not ONE!!! Now I'm going to have to paint my mirrors red and yellow CAMO to make up for it!!!
Oh, that is just SAD... :o

I think that Samurai looks KILLER! :o
-
Ohh but I am adding more colors, white into yellow
into orange flames on the hood and fenders, I think
I'm going to have fun with this paint scheme when it's
done, that and the popped out fenders, Viper Style ;D

With the new "wild" paint job, you might even consider some chrome. You will be the envy of all the full-size 4x4 trucks here in SoCal with their 20"+ wheels and low profile tires. :P

Chrome don't get you home but it sure looks pretty while your pushing it!!!!

I have never had to push my Trucklet,
probably due to a direct lack of chrome
;)
