hey guys need a little help,, I've got A 91 sidekick.. with a 8 valve.. was going hunting yesterday morning and the little trucklet let me down.. for the first time since I've owned her..lol any ways towed it home and started checking the basics .. had spark ,fuel pump working,,but no injector pulse.. could it be plugged..or did the computer shit the bed..? how would i check that.. before i go and get a nother computer...thanks.. That year had some issues with bad capacitors in the computer,
they leak acid and eat the foil traces on the board, so all you need
to do is pop it open, get some new capacitors of the same value
and solder them in as well as replace the damaged traces with some
small like 24ga wires to fix the computer

also when i take the cover off is it an obvious thing i'm looking for ? will it stand out ,like saying hey i'm the one that killed your truck...lol or no

I'm not aware of any writeup, but there might be one, the problem
capacitors will be bulging on the tops, instead of being flat, and you
will see the corrosion if that's what the problem is, not hard to spot,
but while you are in there change out all the old caps for high quality
ones so it doesn't happen again
