Title: largest spacer with Calmini 3" and widen mod
Post by: smife on October 28, 2010, 06:38:53 AM
What is the largest coil spacer I can get away with in the front with the widen mod and 3" Calmini suspension lift? I have the ZOR dominator bumper and Smittybuilt xrc8 winch.

The Calmini kit is new and I have flexed the suspension several times.

The front sits a little low for me.

Is .75" going to tear up my cv's? Or should .50" be the max?

Guys have bought 1" spacers from me for just that purpose. I would say .75" would be OK. Either way I have a few small spacers laying around if you need them.

I was running teh Cal-Mini 3" + RRO's 1.25" spacers on mine with a ARB and no winch.  That was just enough to keep the 31" BFG's off of the stock rocker trim while wifey cruzed the mall.  (no widening mod yet)

I sold it last March / bought it back September and it came back home with 2 sets of spacers and 33" TSL's + ONE busted CV boot.

I just ordered the 2" kit from Lowrange today and will remove the cobbled RRO + cutting board stuff.

I pulled the 33" TSL's off and put 33x9.50-15 BFG Ko's and I like the look too much to step back down.  Right now it clears a 5 gal bucket just fine up front but the CV's are not too happy.
