Heather's post got me wondering. Has anyone else ramped their kick and what was the score with what suspension mods.
Also does the wheelbase or track have an effect, this is all new to me.
I have seen some figures for a lwb kick on a 20 degree ramp.
Stocl lwb 506
lwb with OME suspension 568
Heather's SAS lwb 880

I cant remember exactly, but I was getting somewhere between 700-800 before I did the axle rotation and front end widening (front and rear) our clubs ramp is something like 28 degree. I've been beaning to check it since I did the mods. It's definately ALOT better now.

also i think if you do it backward you would get a higher score because of all the weigh on the front IFS. i will try it both ways at the next jambo.

I think I got a 6 or something...
At Toys for Tots - Spectators were SURE I was gonna roll it off the ramp!!!

I DIDN'T!!! Those are 120V Christmas lights, plugged into a UPS I yanked off my computer at home, to power them!!! I just chucked the UPS in the back seat, and it worked just fine! 8)

Good Idea, I'll have to remember that.

All these threads about ramping, yet I see no airborn zuks :(

u know i dont understand why people think these things are so damn tippy..they are small but they are still pretty wide for being as small as there are
so i dont get how in there redneck logic small equates to 0mph spontainious roll overs ::) ( i had 2 people today tell me my car was going to flip over if i lifted it)

Lack of Knowledge!!!! I backed my Kick with a Calmini 2" suspension lift and 29's up a ramp untill the rear tire was 3' off the ground. I would of scored a 1000 if the wheel was touching ;D The funny pat is it was still stable. I rolled back down a little, pulled the e-break, climbed out and took a pick :P

this is a local sas sidekick, who goes by the name of mudkick online. although you can see one of his rear tires a little off the ground, it is still quit impressive. i was at this competition, and seeing his kick flex on the ramp was cool. he won the contest, and this is against all make of rigs.

yes it is, mudkick spent i believe around $7000 just for the suspension. sporting d44 axels, it looks bullet proof.
