so I was wondering if anyone can help me out and show me pics of jeep fender flares on their sami's and tell me which ones will fit the closest? The last owner of mine just cut some sheet metal and welded it on but I would like to get a cleaner look on it. Ive tried searching on here but only found a couple pics and nothing on an install or telling me what year flares to get that fit the best.

The standard swap is using flares from the back of a Jeep TJ.
I use a set of YJ flares on the back of my SJ-410. Here is a picture from back when they were nice and clean:

Bushwackers, you'll never regret it.

This is cheaper:

A bigger version of the jcwhitney/pacer flexy flares. I think it was Petroworks that used to sell them, not sure if they do anymore...either that, or the flexy flares I think they sell up to like 4" coverage. I have the 1.75" variety on my Tracker and love them.
I also have a new-in-box set of Bestop brand 3.5" flares sitting in my garage that my mother just bought somewhere, but I don't know if bestop makes them still.
(BTW every time I see my996duc1's pics of that rig, I love the paint job he did on that tintop)

That is a nice looking rig. Those flares do look nice, almost like the stock ones, just larger. They cover the tires just right.

Jeep XJ bushwackers. (actually copies in fiberglass)

If you like jeep flares why not weld up some flat fenders? I love that look. Once I get some full size axles for mine I want flat fenders to cover them.
-
ill do a search on that. I would just like a nice cleaner look than what I have.
-
Google search images goat samurai. There is a great looking green tin top that has already done it.
-
it looks nice I just wish I could see the front of the samurai too. I wish someone had a write up for it but I guess if I do it I will have to do a write up. I really like his shovel mount too.
-
Anyone on here know anything about this samurai? Says it's from BC and that is about it. Looks great.

Just use some light weight 1x1 tube or angle iron and a peice of sheet metal and weld it just in side the tire so you don't hit it on everything. should be cheap and simple.
