2" exhaust but pick your noise level, Flowmasters are a loud muff,
and IMO, loud 4 cylinders never sound good unless there is a turbo
singing in front of it  ;)

I agree with Wild... I had a flowmaster on mine and took it off. It was too loud. After I took it off I could hear the engine again.

But.... a friend of mine liked the sound and so I gave it to him to use.

That being said it is a matter of owner choice.

You won't notice any gain in HP so it just depends on what noise level fits your comfort zone.

I think Drone637 has a Thrush Turbo muffler with 2.25" exhaust on his 1.3 liter SJ410, and it sounds nice and mellow.  When he gets it wrapped up it has that throaty muffled sound, not loud noisy.
I have Cherry Bomb Turbo's on my tracker and they are a little louder his.  Once you install one you tend to stay with it (cause you can't take it back), so if you notice one you like, get the same thing.  If you don't know which one I say to get the quieter one, it is easier to get used to a muffled noise than a loud one (if your are watching your coin).
