Title: low voltage

I have been getting low voltage to my fuse block in my samurai i have a 16v swap don't want to fry computer alternater is putting out 14.4 volts just off idle    is this a common problem?

Did you tie into the fuse block with some higher demand loads?
I'm thinking you are drawing more power from it than the intended
design.

You may want to look at the loads and change over any high demand
electric loads to a relay instead, so the load is on the relay and the battery
instead of the fuse block, just use the fuse block for powering the relays
which require much less load than say your electric fuel pump.

Sidekicks came equipped with 2 relays under the dash, one is the fuel pump,
the other is the main power relay

What kind of accessories are you running?  Any fuse taps?  Checked the battery cables?  Checked the main power wire to the fuse block?

When I was re-doing all of my wiring I found a lot of oxygenated corrosion in the wiring, which could definitely cause power loss due to resistance.

Check the main power into your fuse panel to see what voltage it is.

i have one tap to my volt gauge  and 3 to trip relays for lights i don't use much  head lights are setup on relays so they draw from the battery it all started a few months ago all the wiring has been the same for over a year.  changed the belt and alt.
the alt is a 94 amp 12si delco

i relay all offroad lights and fan headlights too

Whats the voltage into the block?

How did you wire the alternator?  There's a right way and a different, less effective way.
