Title: muddy trail ride with video
Post by: Scott on June 10, 2004, 03:46:54 PM
Here is a vid of a day of trail riding here in Florida.

http://s91701801.onlinehome.us/myweb2/favorite.htm

Some of you may have seen this on another site but I wanted to share here too.

I am in the red tintop and only in it a little since I am doing most of the jerky camera work ;D

The end is a mud hole that only me and a locked f&r CJ on 35's made it through.  It managed to eat a hummer and GMC Jimmy for almost 24 hours!

Enjoy and let me know what you think of my first effort at video creation.

Ya I was thinking that too!

Jeep gets stuck, footage ends.

Yota gets stuck, footage ends.

Zuk gets stuck, cameras keep rolling and film Zuk being pulled by Jeep  :-X

You are right the most you see of the Zuk is it stuck or the bullet hole lookin thing in the windshield :-/

Still near the end I pan across it and the CJ and then to the other side of the big mudhole--that's because we just made it across and that hummer did not!  Too heavy IMHO.

The hummer is for sale if anybody wants a monster.  37" IROK's and a 350 roller motor and a whole lot of florida mud on the inside ;D  He only wants $18,000.

Only and $18,000 that sounds funny!

Video quality was the best it could be considering the situation you were in. And as for the tunes playing ...Kenny Wayne Shepherd Band

Blue On Black was a nice choice.  ;D

Nice Video, (http://bbs.zuwharrie.com/Smileys/default/thumb.gif)  SO I guess yall borrowed / rented the Grader???   I like the Hummer and watched the E-bay auction of it's identical twin from Fla. a few weeks back.
Guess their are disadvantages to being the biggest baddest one in the bunch.

It may have been the same hummer.  It was on e-bay a couple weeks back and did not reach the reserve so he re listed it.  It is here in Tallahassee so it was probably the same.

The grader was passing by on a numbered road while we were trying to figure out to what to do next.  Opportunity knocks :D

BTW the video was real popular 5GB of downloads in less than 2 weeks.  I have been shutdown until the 1st of next month.  Thats cool...lots of new footage today for the next one :)

Yeah I am down maybe until the first of the month, maybe for good with this provider.  They (1&1) are not real quick to reply to my mail asking WTF?
