Just picked up (another) Tracker, a 1995, no engine, no paperwork, it's basically a parts car. My plans are to use what I can for my two '90s and part out the rest.
My 90 soft top has a bunch of broken hardware and as far as I know, the soft tops DO NOT come with hardware, right? The bow is there but all the little plastic pieces in the corners are snapped off. I decided to give up on a soft top and hold out for a hard top. But now this 95 has me wondering...
...next question, this 95 has a bunch of assorted soft top bracketry, it's the newer-style stuff...if I find out it's all complete can it swap over to my 90 model? Looks similar, but it looks like it may bolt into some places on the body where the 90 has no provisions for a bolt to go into.
Also, I found a soft top with hardware for $100 on a nearby craigslist...I think the hardware is worth at least that...
Thanks
DJ

A soft top truck or just the top and hardware?
I guess either way it would be a deal, a new top is about $150-175
even for a cheep one, so I would go for it.

Top and hardware.
But, new tops only re-use existing hardware, don't they?

Yes, they assume you have the hardware because you have the vehicle
you are ordering a top for it. There are a few people out there that got
the hardtops and had to remove the hardware, which they now have
with a soft top for sale, I would get it ASAP, it's worth it

That's what this guy did, bought a hardtop and stored the hardware and decided he hasn't used it, might as well sell it. It's worth the 100 mile drive, I think. I've been holding out for a used hard top but they're hard to come by locally, at least for sidekicks/trackers
