Title: Other trucks with low axle gearing?
Post by: bandit86 on November 26, 2010, 02:26:19 PM
Just wondering, is there another manufacturer that puts low gearing stock on their trucks?  Both 4.62 and 5.13 are the lowes I heard off.

YEARS ago, Willys used 5.38 gears in the old CJs' and you can still find them on occasion.

Do you mean in small trucks like ours or Toyota's ? or any trucks?

My brother has an old International that came with 6.71s  :o turns
38" tires and can just go 60 MPH at a comfortable RPM

It's in an old Military type axle, either Rockwells or Dana 80
or some crazy thing like that
