Title: 5spd and Auto ECU ? HELP PLEASE!!!

Does anyone know if you can swap the two I have the 5spd and found a Auto ECU and want to swap them.
Also What are the differences between the two?
I know the 5spd has the clutch pedal switch and the auto has the Shift switch but other then ???  Can I somehow make it work?

PLEASE HELP!!

Alaska101,

Thats what I'm currently using in my 5spd 16v, and it works great, all that happens is the check engine light stays on.

I have a 8v. Does anyone have a photo of a Auto ecu in a 8v 1991? Are the plugs the same? I had my step-father in-law (out-law) look at the one that I found (It is about a 7 hour round trip to go get it) and her said the plugs are deferrent. Is he right or just Daft?  

Please I would like to know before I drive?
Ps: my dealership and all the parts people have the combined IQ of a hampster!!!!!

 What exactly are you looking to accomplish? Are you swapping an auto into a manual truck, or what?
If you let me know, I can probably help you figure it out.

Sorry I was not clear, on what I was wanting to know.
Here it goes:
I have a 1991 4door sidekick with a 5spd and a bad ecu, I have found a good ecu out of a 1991 auto sidekick, Can I put the auto ecu into my 5spd zuki? I still want the 5spd.
