Title: 1994 sidekick 5 speed tranny making growling noise?
Post by: samurai37 on November 28, 2010, 08:22:04 PM
94' sidekick 4wd 1.6 16    the 5 speed tranny makes a growling noise in every gear, at all rpms.  But when i push in the clutch it stops making the growling noise.  When at a stop and its in neutral with the clutch out it makes the noise.   Anyone know what it could be?  throw out bearing, input bearing?  Thanks

Noise in all gears is bearings, the trans needs a rebuild,
which  you can do yourself with a little patience
