Title: 2" coil and strut spacers with gv springs
Post by: jas3924 on December 05, 2010, 06:48:30 PM
i just got a 96 Suzuki sidekick a couple months ago and was wanting to put a 2" coil and strut spacer lift on it but found out that i can use grand Vitara springs to get extra lift. I was wondering if i combined the two if i would have to change anything other than the shocks to make this work, or would i run into other problems

front gv coils on a 2dr softtop give 2-3" lift rears give 1" so rear needs some more lift to make it all work right. i have gv coils in my 90, works pretty good, needs the spacer in the rear to level it out but it clears 31's

DON'T use both gv coils AND spacers up front. the gv coils almost max out the stock cv's unless you are willing to drop the diff and modify more of the suspension leave it at just coils or spacers up front

That is what I run on my 96 Tracker.  1" spacer in the rear, 1" coil spacer and GV springs up front.  It does run a bit stiff, but softer then when I ran the spacers up front with stock springs.  Just don't expect to keep your stock rigs ride quality.

I can supply the coil spacers in whatever size you need.  8)
