The fuel filter is under your rig on the passenger side, strapped to the inside of the frame just above your rear axle.  If you can't find it make sure there isn't a straight pipe there, someone did that on my SJ-410 and I didn't realize it until years later when my fuel pump burned out trying to push gas through a horribly plugged up carb.

Ok, you said 13.9V with everything on. Where are you taking the measurement and at what rpm? And, take a deep breath and relax man! ;)

If it's not a charging issue there might be a short somewhere.  Try disconnecting the headlights and see if it still dies when the switch is changed from off to on.

Probably just need to get the alt rebuilt.  The headlights alone shouldn't be enough to cause it to die like that, mine runs fine.

Try taking it down to a shop to get tested.

Yes, setup through a relay.  I can even run the winch without any issues with the engine trying to die.

It should be mounted on the side of your transmission.  I disconnected mine a while back, same with the clutch safety switch.
