Has anyone ever delt with Altered Ego/Zukination in Kelowna BC. More specifically does anyone run their 4.5" Alterd ego lift? I am interested in the lift but would like some real life feed back on the company and the product first.
Thanks,
Matt

they have moved back and forth from kelowna to calgary ad back to kelowna but ive been there in person on several occations looking at their products and getting quotes for custom fab work. they all seem like great guys to deal with, with great products. there lift kits look like very well made units and they all fit very nicely.
i dont know where your located but if your local to them swing on past and get a first hand look at both it fully installed on the vehicles and the fab work that is put into their products.

I would love to, but I live in Montreal....A little too far of a drive. I just find it funny that you don't hear of them and I can't find anyone who is personally running one of their lift kits.

I have ordered various bits and pieces from them. The two big ones are their diff-drop brackets and rear lower control arms. I am very happy with the service and parts. I recently ordered an exhaust system from them to mate up with my header (awaiting arrival). The 4.5" lift kit is going on my next sidekick for sure.
There were some flex pics somewhere on here, and the ground clearance was also excellent.

Thanks, I`ll try and search for the pics

nice lookin stuff but i find that th e prices are alitle steep for my liking .....would like the 4.5 lift but more than what i payed for the trackick just my 2cents
-
I agree its pricey but I want to run 31s or 32s with out body lift on my dd

If I had it to do all over again, I'd spend the money and go with this kit over Calmini's, even though it's more. It seems more thought out and with an 1.5 " advantage over the Calmini kit, a better deal, imo.
-
I agree , thats why I'm leaning towards it. I just am looking for someone who has actually wheeled this kit for a couple of seasons, want to hear how it actually holds up to abuse.
-
No one has any real world experience with this kit?
-
They have builds on their website, someone has been running it. E-Mail Pam or Geoff I am sure they can put you in touch with someone who has the whole kit. I know there was a guy in Ontario who posed pics of the 4" kit and a review on zookpower.ca

I have one of their front skid plates. Very nice construction and fitment, the powdercoating was great, and shipping was fast to US.
-
I recently inquired with them about a set of there control arms, not the whole kit. It's great that they are willing to sell parts seperately, but the shipping price from Canada got me, $100 to my addy. That would have made a set of control arms with shipping almost $900~! close to the cost of a whole Calmini kit!

Looking forward to the release of their Gen II kit. They actually have pics of their test mule on their site as opposed to, say, "The Rockfather" suspension that's been "in the works" since before I ever bought my '99.
-
I was skeptical when I first heard of them but then went to the site......WOW! makes calmini pale in comparison, considering the actual costs of a proper sas conversion I dont think its a bad deal for the quality. time to sell the 'yota axles I was saving! ;)

I would like to see a review and more pics of this lift installed also. I am very interested in picking one up.
-
me too. might just have to get one....hmmmm......
-
I emailed them and they said that you can lift a back wheel 36" with all the other tires still on the ground. They also said that they have pics. I will keep you guys updated on the information that they give me. I am really excited about possibly purchasing this lift.

That is probably the most flexable IFS bolt on lift I've ever seen. I want one!
-
If any one is interested, I live 5 minutes away from their shop. I could go down there and see if they have any more info on the genII kit ;)
-
|removethispart|@TysonS: That would be awesome...just in case their website isn't current.
-
I first came across their site about a year ago or so, and been keeping up to date. Very nice parts, and I do like the idea that they sell separate parts. Great for those looking for builder parts
-
If I had any friggin money I'd jump on one of these kits in a heartbeat. I really like the idea of IFS and good lift and this stuff looks like the goods. Anyone looking for a real nice Harley? ;D

I'd like to have the GenII kit. Wonder when it's going to be available?
