Well today I'm going to go get a set of the BFG all terrain t/a's. Hopefully they will be a decent all around tire. I was going to get a real agressive tire but then soon realized that not enough of my driving is offroad. I think the driving that is off road will be ok with these tires. Any input is appreciated as always.

I am selling my 235 75R15 there like new i got a set of 31x 10.5 R15
They are a great tire man i push them on the on ramps and im suprised they hold up well. In the snow they are good i can drive around in 2WD and its awsome. In the mud i was going threw last month went threw like mud that was like 4" deep and ponds and stuff never got stuck.

they worked great on the tracker till jen put a hole in the sidewall.. air em down to 17 psi and they grab well,, there not much in loose stuff tho,, but any rocks or anything with roots in it there good.. but i would sugest finding some old school bias plys, there sweet lol

I ran 30 -9.50 AT's untill a last fall. They were a great snow tire and wore like iron. Its gonna depend on how much trail riding you do or if your rig is going to see more road use. The road manners of the AT are great and they work pretty well on the rocks for me. I got MTs in the fall and they are a hole lot better in the mud but the road manners are a little lacking. One last thing I have found the MTs to be a little quieter on the road than the ATs I know it seems weird but its true. That probobly doesnt help much but I guess thats why I cant decide what Im getting next myself.

HOw much are the Mt's? and where can I get them that has em in stock!?!?!? I need em by saturday!!
-
They had my MTs in stock at the Sears in Nashua they were more expensive there I think $149 on sale for ten off regular (I think) Mine are 31-10.5s and I was there for 6 hours or more on a saturday waiting plus they didnt put my white letters out. I was pissed but they were the only place in the state I could find that had them in stock and were open on Saturday.

Yeah my A/T are great in the snow and pavement but in the mud the M/T are alot better
-
Im thinkin of keeping my 235 75R15 for winter and the 31x10.5R15 M/T for summer and mud
-
I'd say that most "all terrain" tires suck in the mud.
They just don't have the spacing between the lugs to clear the debris out.

he got the M/Ts, just thought i would tell you all. ;)

Yup got the mt's for 138 a tire, came to 578 total mounted and balanced. I'm happy. Btw I got them at tire warehouse in laconia.
-
what size?
-
31x10.50x15, your running 33's so probably be about 20 bucks more a tire
-
Eh, I still want 33x14.50 boggers... but I'll probably end up with 33x12.50 bias ply TSLs, just because they have a milder on-road ride quality :-/

Andrew,
I'm looking forward to seeing your progress this weekend.

The BFG AT's are a great all around tire. If you spend lot of time on the road and just a few weekends out of the year on the trail, it's a great tire. They ride good on the road, good tread wear and quiet. Lot's of the occasional wheelers in our club run them and they do good on the trail untill they hit sloppy mud. If you hit the trails to find sloppy mud, then you will not like them, but dirt, rock, sand, logging roads, etc... they work good.
