I am testing the interest in the soon to be released lifetime guarantee birfs and chromoly axle shafts for sammies.
The guestimated price for these will be about $550 to $600 for the pair.
The manufacturer already makes indestructable birfs for Toys, and thanks to my interest, and a little talking with Figmo at Roadless Gear, Roadless will soon be selling them!
Let me know what you think. The better the showing of serious responses, the sooner these will be out!
The birfs are 26 spline, inside and out. The shafts are 26 spline on both ends. The likelyhood of you breking these, is very slim. And if you do, they have a guarantee on them, just send them back, and they will send a replacement back to you.
Pretty cool, huh? ;D

I'm not the front axle guru here, but this winter the completely stock, never been touched front axle in my sami is goint to get an overhaul (the usual knuckle rebuild). After watching Sean |removethispart|@ GonZookin run his on 35's I thought :-/ that's pretty cool. 8) I want to lock the front, so what else do I need to use these new birfs/shafts. I have a whole spare sami rear 3rd sitting on the floor. I know I need the carrier....what side gears? anything else? This setup comes w/ just inner shafts, right? (uses stock stubs?)

All you need to run these shafts is to basically setup your front diff like a rear, use the 26 spline side gears or setup a rear diff that is locked for that very purpose.
I got a confirmed price on these, they will sell for $580 for the pair. They are approximately 6 weeks out at this point.
