It says in the manual that I can tow 4 down. Transfer Case in Netural, Trans in 2nd, key on Acc. to unlock the steering wheel. Is there a fuse I can pull so the clock and the clock on the radio don't work? Or do I just disconnect the negtive on the battery and live with it that way!!!!

I wouldn't worry about the clock running your battery dead since even with the key off the clock is still on just not illuminated. It would take weeks or months for it to run down the battery. With the radio just manually turn it off.
Also if your flat towing I recommend every 70 miles or so start the sami in 2wd high and neutral to circulate some oil in the tranny.

BUT. if your towing really far.(over 100miles) Drop the driveline and don't worry. You'll feel much better ;D

I am going from Calif to Oklahoma and it says in the manual that I can go 200 miles before I have to start the engine and run it in 2nd with the clutch engaged. hmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Drop the rear shaft....it only takes a few minutes, then nothing is spinning. Flat towing the way the manual states is OK for really short jaunts but be aware that the front driveshaft is spinning.

When you say drop the REAR drive shaft do I drop the front of it or the back or both ends and put it the back of my Zuki?
Thanks

At the least disconnect it from the rear axle or to be completely safe unbolt it all together.

Thanks for clearing that up 87 ;) ... I took mine completely out.

Just wondering, but why do you have to put the transmission in to 2nd? Why not neutral?

I think its just to keep the tranny from spinning so you don't have the same lubrication probs in there.
