What is different about the spline counts? I can't recall......... Do I have to change the trans., transfer, and driveshafts?

Yes, they will swap between 96 and 95 without any issues.

We have noticed that going from an 8 valve to 16 valve engine that sometimes the transmission will sit a little crooked.  It doesn't hurt anything but it is kind of annoying.  We never checked to see if this was due to the bell housing or not.

That's funny, because the only difference in 8V and 16V engines is the head
and related manifolds etc. they share the same block, so why the trans sits
a little crooked is a mystery to me

Obviously, because of the Knutson valve bushings on the 16-valve...    >:D

My life in seven words (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6P2_vnk-3E0#)

:D

We did quite a bit of transmission swaps on BRD HNTR's tracker before he went to the v6 swap trying to get one a cheap used one that worked properly.
