Title: 91 suzuki samurai code 17

91 suzuki samurai I put the fuse in and jumped the plug by the battery and got the light to blink 1 and then 7  which Ive been told is a 17. any help on what this is. As I said in the other post it has no spark at the coil. Thanks bob

Code 17 isn't a valid code.  Either you read it wrong or there is something really messed up.

It would blink once then pause and then blink 7 times. And then in would keep repeating that. I hope I was jumping the  right 2 wires.

Is it maybe 71, instead of 17?  Because 71 is a valid code.  It is a test switch terminal error code.  Which means you have driven it at a speed above 25mph with the jumper in place.  Remove the jumper, when you are driving.
