is there any thing out there to drop the steering linkage on trackicks? I need to drop mine just a little bit to make oil pan clearance.
HELP APPRECIATED. ???

How little ? 1"?

1" would be great or even a bit less would do.

Ya, could do a custom center link, dropped tie rod holes and
a spaced down link rod, DOM tubing and 1/2" rod ends for a
grade 8 bolt instead of the ball joints, this prevents the center
link from rotating and giving you bump steer also.
I don't know how much you want to do, I would go ahead and
create longer tie rods and a center mount point instead of using
the stock tie rods

That's along the lines of what I was thinking, was wondering if there was anything already on the market.
-
Nope, total custom fabrication

Why does it need to be dropped? Unless something is bent/broken/modified, it should clear fine.

The oil pump on the Audi motor hangs down right atop the linkage. Just need a 1/2"-1" and thought there might be some handy dandy fix or mod out there already.

Oh, ok. You are running an audi engine...I wasn't aware of that.

Hey Jared, I got this one covered...Do you remember what I did on my race Sidekick? That steering is dropped about 3" with stock mounting locations. It uses a Sky's idler arm flipped over and a drop pitman arm. You'll have to get Sky to reverse the taper on the arm to make this work with stock components. You'll have to figure something out on the spindle side to keep your geometry correct...

that was exactly what I had planned for the idler arm but what drop pitman arm did you use? (the only one I have seen was calminis for trackick p/s conv.) BTW, thanks

Yeah, the Calmini Sidekick/Tracker drop pitman arm. That's the one. :)
