Ok I'm new to the tracker and sidekick world need some info I have bought two trackers one 4wd and one 2wd and was wondering can you make a trans case work on the 2wd and if not I have heard of using a samurai trans case and making it work thanks for the help

If the 2wd happens to have a "dummy tcase" on it, then you can remove it and install a "real" tcase in its place.  But I doubt it has the dummy tcase on it....few did.
A transfer case will not bolt to the back of a 2wd tranny.
Yes, you could put a samurai tcase behind the 2wd tranny.  You would have to make frame mounts to be able to mount the samurai tcase.  Plus the rear driveshaft will have to be modified.  The trackicks use slip yokes on the tcase end of the driveshafts, the samurai uses flanges.

i would just swap in the 4wd trans, not too difficult, unless its a 5speed auto issue, i dont know for you, but up in ontario i can get a trans from the scrappers for 100$ that might be the way to go.
