Title: Power problem

Had a little power prob went to big bear ran great up the mnt. got to the trail and started running funny.Started home and it struggeled.Started to check things out and found out my dist. was bad.The thing would ping like crazy.The shaft had a lot of end play it had varible ignition timing replaced dist and now runs great.Just wanted to drop a line if anybody ends up with a weired power problem.

Good info, I don't think we often suspect the distributor as a source
of trouble when things start running funny.
