Title: Weber Carb
Post by: tuesdaysgone on January 16, 2011, 02:07:00 PM
Hey guys, this is a repost, I guess a mod didn't like my post in the performance section and deleted it.

Anyway, here goes, if i fit a new weber carb to increase engine performance will it decrease the mpg?

I drive an 86 sami with the weber on it daily, i noticed minimal fuel difference.  i dont drive at highway speed ever though so the motor is at a happy rpm.  I have noticed that if u do like to put your foot in it, it will decrease significantly, as compared to the original carb.
