I have a 90 tracker 8v 3speed auto. My problem is it dont want to stay started. it will start idle high then just die like someone turned the key of. But if you feather the gas untill it warms up it will idle ok. Its burning super rich also. and once you drive it for a while the idle goes down to like 500 and acts like its trying to die. couple of guys think its the computer going bad. anyone have any thoughts

Could be something to do with your fuel pump or filter. Had somewhat of the same problem and it was my fuel pump.

Got my geo to GA today. Now i can actually work on it. So here is the deal. I start it and it idles for a couple seconds and then just dies. once i get it warmed up it will idle ok and if i try to hold the idle higher it will idle higher and then die. once i put it in gear and try to go it constantly hesatates. I have to feather the gas to get going. if i try to hold the pedal in a certain spot it will hold there a second then just drop and die with no change in the peddle position..
going to change fuel filter tomorrow. if not the problem what could it be. i really think omethink electrical. idk though. oh and this just recently started saturday after a day on the trails and mud. ???
