Post by: joshembry on January 17, 2011, 09:31:49 PM
I was looking for advice on how you guys would do hinge pins on an exocage in order to make it swing open, but not vibrate like crazy and drive you nuts. Ill post pictures of crude ideas im planing, and if you have any advice on the design to make it better please let me know

Its telling me the upload folder is full and to contact an admin to post a pick, so i will do that asap and get a pic uploaded

I would go with a bushing setup, like you have on a set of springs.

Sand Rails use a fitting that goes inside the tube to allow removing
a section of frame and still maintain the strength to hold the loads

Nope, but I saw it done on Spike TV Extreem 4x4 show a few weeks ago
when they tubed out the truggy they were building, you might be able
to watch that episode online and see what they did, I think they might
of even plugged the supplier
