My carpet is getting wet on the drivers side. Anybody have any ideas where water might be getting in and how to stop it.
Thanks Dave C

What model/year of truck are you driving and what area do you live? My first guess (without more info)... you are tracking snow in, ... second guess (without more info) is you spilled something... another guess is you have rust under your carpet that's allowed water through, OR you have a drain plug loose or missing allowing water to enter under the carpet... that's all that comes to mind off hand.

Im gonna say you have a rust whole from the front wheel well into the cabin under the carpet...this is why I ripped all my carpet out in the first place and threw down some bed liner...

they usually rust ant the seam of the floor pan and firewall on drivers side all the way to the tranny tunnel. get rid of your carpet and get rust neutralizer and seem sealer from your auto parts store. seam sealer is pretty much like caulk, its ghetto but it works. but definitely get rid of the carpet its just holding in the moisture

Its a 2002 Grand Vitara. It's not snow , I have some deep floor mats that catch all the water. It has to be a leak or seam letting water in some where. I will check for holes and look for rust. It is only on the drivers side up front. The rest of the car looks good and dry.

what about the drain by window wipers is plug and water backing up and getting in that way heard of this happening before
