Title: Locking console/box for Trackers?

I just purchased a 95 Tracker this weekend and have been pouring over this forum looking at lift options and advice. The one thing that I can't seem to find any information about is about adding a Locking Console or some type of Lock Box for storing valuables. Does anyone make a Tracker specific replacement?

 I would like something that I could put my conceal carry gun in when I am going inside a prohibited place (like the post office, etc). Since the Tracker is a softop, the glovebox really isn't an option! Any suggestions on what worked for you? Maybe an under-the-seat locking box? ???

Tuffy has a box for the Samurai and 'jeeps' too... Maybe one of those would work.

I saw Tuffy's sammi console, and think it looks great. The only problem I see with it is that my e-brake is in the way. It looks like some type of sliding drawer or box mounted under the driver's seat seems to be my best bet.

Ive been wondering the same thing. Im buying the Tuffy box for the TJ and trying to make it work on my Suzuki. when i get around to it, ill post.

I've been looking at ATV locking boxes and I think that they might fit quite well in the "trunk" space behind the rear bench. I'm going to try and run down to a local atv dealer and see if they have anything in stock that I can testfit.

Are you talking about a rear compartment box, or a console box?  Please post pics of whatever you come up with.  I was thinking the Samurai box may fit in my Tracker but I dunno how it would work with my rear seats forward.

i was talking about the slide out drawer safebox thats under the drivers seat.
