Just bought a 86 samurai and the guy also gave me axles perches to flip the springs. He said nothing else had to be done. Was he correct? Seems like brake lines might have to be lengthened or something. Could you guys give me any advice or tips from your spring over. Thanks

Well there is more to do but it's not that hard. The springs should be welded to the axles ( if the perches are not the kind that are made to be welded to the stock Samurai perches than use extreme caution when welding perches straight onto Samurai axles because they are thin walled axle tubes and it is easy to burn through), you will need 4 longer brake lines sold at all of our favorite Zuk sites, would also be a good idea to get either Driveshaft extensions or longer Driveshafts, will need to figure out if you want to use stock shocks or newer ones that are longer also where you want to mount them (stock leaf spring plate or on axle itself which means you would need to also get new shock mounts that need to be welded to the axle), I personally would also recommend installing newer U-bolts for the springs. Also need to think about steering parts Samurais can get bad bump steer when sprung over so to help this you'll want to run either a OTT steering system or a drop pitman arm or a Zlink. I run a drop pitman arm but I would rather the OTT or the Zlink just have not been able to get one yet.

I like the Sky Manufacturing State One kit myself. It gives you everything you need for a SPOA lift to be safe and on the road.
