the plastic "rivets" that hold the cover for the tail gate
Seems my lock on the rear gate is falling threw so I have to remove that plastic piece to tighten it back up. I tried the local autozone but they just point me to a hodgepodge of plastic rivets, screws, etc.
Any one ever change the rear plastic fasteners
Thanks

I was going to point you to the same "hodge podge" of plastic rivets at the AutoZone - quite seriously, there are rivets there that, whilst not identical, are close enough that they will fit and hold the interior plastics in place - I know because I've bought them from AutoZone.
If that doesn't suit you, there's always the dealer - they are available - for about $2 each.

Also, check auto body/paint stores. I've seen them on ebay. I got mine from Southwest Suzuki.

I took mine off and it is still off. i figured i would have to put some diamond plate in there and rivet it to cover up the hole.

I got mine from a local place that does upholstery work and sells weatherstripping and plastic fasteners and all that good stuff. I think I got a box of 15 for like 10 bucks. They were not gray, they were black and a little larger diameter but they all still fit OK and they actually look a little beefier than the OEM gray ones. I used 10 on the back hatch and the other 4 near the back seat belt posts. Have one spare clip. If I still had the box I'd be able to get you a part number and brand name, but sorry.
