:o hey everyone my girlfriends samurai is allways pegged out on the heat gauge what could it be? which sensor do i replace or what wires usually mess up?
-
Bad ground next time you drive it and the temp gauge is up make sure head lights are off and push in the clutch and hold it for about a min and if the gauge starts to drop then thats it!Usually there is a lil wire that goes from the back of the dist to the fire wall it gets corroded and breaks not leaving  good connection "DO NOT" replace with a another wire go to a battery shop get a braided 6 in ground strap and put it in its place ;DThat is only if its just the gauge malfunctioning if it is truley getting hot do a radiator flush and thermostat replacment ;) or the clutch in your fan is tits up :-/ i think that covers it anyone else?

tight man! yes it is only the gauge, that thing runs cool. awesome, so ill just redo the ground from the distributer to the firewall then. thank you, 6feetofAIR

The sender is under the thermostat,
if the new ground strap doesn't fix it
