So I've been meaning to get something up so here it is...
here's the starting point...
-
your going from a 1.6 auto rig to a 2.0L 5 speed correct?
-
yes, here's some pictures of the one inch body lift, wheels and 31/10.5-15's installed.. tomorrow I will spend some more time on here explaining what I did and more pictures!
-
did you use a kit?..i did a 1.8l swap in my 94 2-door,..basicly the same as your 2.0l,.i did the wiring myself and built the motor mounts etc...curious how yours went
-
I built the motor mounts myself, and have a wire genius doing the wiring,(living in the portland OR area it needs to be smog legal), also, I converted it from an four speed auto to a five speed manual, I used a custom flywheel from trail tough, centerforce clutch to handle the abuse and the turbo that i plan later on...

"Just a lab" was meant as joke too. I figured something was up to point it out.
It is always interesting watching a build take off, and wondering which way it's going to go and how far. Keep up the good work, and keep the photo's coming.

so i figure its time to get this back on the front page.. an update is that I got the motor in wired and got it running with some help from jluck, after I got the motor wired, had a fueling issue in the number for cylinder and ended up replacing the injector. runs like a champ!!! I am ordering a manufactured bumper on Monday, from alter ego.. and i will again try to get some pics uploaded to fill in the gaps of the build progress..http://www.alteredegomotorsports.com/uploads/3/6/5/2/3652259/9396000_orig.jpg (http://www.alteredegomotorsports.com/uploads/3/6/5/2/3652259/9396000_orig.jpg)
