I have heard you can swap in a Nissan injector, but nothing about a Mustang.  You should give Hawk Suzuki a call, they sell used injectors that come with a guarantee.

The only thing I know about injectors is that their size is directly related to the amount of HP that cylinder is going to be producing. So if they are from an engine that has too much lager of a displacement... then you could have a problem.

Unless the particular injecter you have is able to open and close fast enough. (I think they were called "low impedence")Those types of injectors are typically used on turbo'ed cars. So that they can pump out a small amount of fuel when the car is not under boost... then a larger amount when the engine is under boost.
