Title: fuel tank sending unit?
Post by: hassingermotorsports on February 11, 2011, 06:58:43 AM
OK  I was looking around for a new sending unit for my 98 tracker. fuel pump works fine  just the gas guage isn't working right.    I found listings for 89 to 96 and 99 to 03.  They are pretty reasonable priced.   but the only ones I can find for the 97 and 98 trackers are really expensive.

Can anyone tell me the difference between the 89-96 and the 97-98 sending units?  is the plug different? or what?

anyone know....?

Are you looking for the Sport or a standard Tracker?

Did you check the sending unit for resistance changes to Know it is bad?  Or does the Fuel gauge not change?  I found a bad Fuel gauge in the dash I was installing in my Tracker.
