A freind of mine has been working on redesigning his Tracker into a trail buggy. He had it out last weekend to see how it would preform. I snapped a couple pics for you guys... girls too! ;D Its a custom frame from right behind the front controlarms.
Calmini 4 to 1 t case
Calmini 3 inch suspension
33 inch Boggers in the rear
32 inch BFG muds in front (because Boggers run small)
The front tires were moved 9 inches forward so their would be better front to rear balance for jumping and less stress on the front shafts. Everything not neccicary was gutted. The total rig can be spun around with 2 guys grabbing ahold of it so its pretty light too.

Thats pretty sweet.
I see he changed his rear shock placement.
Any reasons behind this?

Its a custom frame and he moved the coils inward something like 5 inches per side. This allows for more travel before the coils come loose. it also takes away from stability but its so light that it doesnt really hurt any in his case. To take advantage of that travel and to help save the shocks forward.

has the rear end been dove tailed or is it just me?

That's a pretty cool rig... So it performs pretty well, I take it?
