Looks like a good start! 8)
However, I saw a relatively stock Samurai w/235 and long shackles navigate Hell's Revenge, although he did take a lot of bypasses. I don't believe he had a locker either. I also naviagated a lot of that trail with just a front locker and an open rear diff.

Yes, it is true that a lessor equipped Suzuki can make it through. The requirements are there to help gather an equally equipped set of vehicles to a specific trail on a specific day. That way, we don't end up with one or two guys having a lot of trouble and others having a lot of frustration.
If someone would like to lead a group on Hell's revenge for open diffed vehicles in addition to the ride I'm going to lead, I can definitely support that.

Eric,
On both these trails you specify "low gears", and I recognize your reasoning. If I can make it, will I have issues finding trails/groups to run with my 5 spd automatic stock TC and 5.12 gears?

Hello Steve - I don't think you'll have difficulty finding trails/groups to ride with. For example, the trail I'm doing on Thursday is easy with the exception of Rose Garden Hill... Some of it you'll just have to play by ear. Hopefully, a few more brave souls will pipe up and lead and/or organize some more trail rides before the week's activities get locked in. :)

I'll see you there, and see if I can pass the Qualifications.

What's everyone doing the rest of the week ? Any doing runs with other groups ? Anyone doing any trips with the Safari ?

We're still working on some more trail rides for the week and will fill out a schedule shortly... Is there any particular trail you'd like to do? I'd like to hear what trails people would like to do. Keeping in mind that RR4W does have exclusive use of a lot of trails so it's important to look at their schedule when finding a trail and then a day it'll be open.

Eric,
If I get everything together and come I'd like to do some scenic trails. My first wife hated going offroad and my new wife loves it. Sometime durring the week I want to take her down Kane Creek to hunt up some petroglyphs ( and a pictograph I know of) but thats all I have planned. If a friend of mine shows up with his Unimog I may spend a day with him wheeling. Someone mentioned FIns and Things, since I've never done it I think that would be great. Now I need to find a camping spot for a 36' motorhome.... SO much to do and so little time.... ;D

I think you'd definitely like Thursday's trail ride then as for scenery and mild wheeling... You know, I don't think I've done finsnthings either... Maybe that should go on the list?

Are we going to have a meet sometime early in the week. It would be nice to know who is there and where.

Ok, We've filled out the schedule a bit more. We're going to try having a "reception" at the Moab Brewery Sunday evening to make a date, place, time for people to get together and coordinate / socialize.

I just wanted to note that departure times are moved around a little so be sure be aware that not all are at 9:30am as most were in the past. Golden Spike gets a lot of traffic so I want to get out early enough that we can get a good lead out on traffic. Looking forward to meeting everybody! ;D

Hey, we got into town late and didn't get our campsite setup until 8:30. The Monday run is too early for me, but are you guys going to meet Monday night anywhere? Also, is there anything planned for Tuesday?
-
I believe there is a Wednesday run, but nothing official for Tuesday. BRD HNTR is working on his rig today, the air pump for the ARB gave up the ghost and had a front axle issue that ended up being a lot smaller then initially thought. But the hole in his brand new radiator is rather annoying.
So you could probably track him down. :)

I am up and running again. Looking for someone to run some trails with. I need to test the lockers before Wed. I have a new air pump and spliced the air line to rear locker.

Having a great week! Mr. Rash.... come join us on Wednesday's run, we're recouperating today. :)

You should have taken Monday off like BRD HNTR did. :P

Did Bull Canyon today. Didn't know where it ended though and found ourselves on atv trail before we came to a dead end with no area to turn around. Good scenic trail, with a few hairy sections.

I think that is where we went today. Saw Gemini Bridges,

then went up and saw them from the top.

No real test of the lockers, but they hold air pressure now, and the front is now working.

Looking for someone to run Poisin Spider, or another good trail with tomorrow. I have a few more days here and would like to do more.
