Title: 1990 Tracker Idle Start Problem

Hey all

well I just bought a 1990 tracker when the vehicle is cold and then started it idles high at 2k RPM also after maybe 30sec or so it starts to idle up and down like 2k-1k-2k untill it reaches normal operating temp then it idles around 800-1k RPM without a problem, even after shut off and restarted.

any help would be great

No help really required, this is normal behavior for the early
Sidekicks with an 8v engine and the wax pellet cold start
air bypass system
