Title: advice: Weber choke choices
Post by: JesseWSmith on March 04, 2011, 04:13:50 PM
I ordered a manual choke weber 32/36 from (will hold name until I see how they handle this) and they sent a water choke version. For a 88.5 samurai mostly stock except header and rebuilt stock engine with a header.
I have a stock carb now, should I send the water weber back and get a manual choke or is the water choke ok?  Does the water choke need additional plumbing?  How hard is that?

I am thinking the water choke was my last choice between manual, electric then water.  I greatly appreciate the advice, I hate to send it back (time/cost).  I do not know anything about the different kinds.

Thanks a ton for the comments.

i prefered the manual choke. the kit i got came with a real nice cable.
my bro. has the electric choke and so far no problems.
the water choke should work, and you have to drain coolant to remove a stocker, so that wouldn't change....
i would have 'em sending the one you want.
