Post by: woof359 on March 08, 2011, 06:37:43 PM
time almost to get the Sam back out, 1st thing this year is going to be to replace the OEM Zuk carb with a weber, trying to get the electronic carb to run right day after day is a bitch, I hear you have to cut off some piping and maybe some other stuff ?

If you haven't already purchased a Weber, consider looking at ZuksOffRoad's  MYSide or MYSide 2.

It is a turnkey installation and comes with a properly-modified intake.

You can get it with or without a Harley Davidson sidedraft carburetor.

There are no "stalling on inclines" issues.

It generally gets better mileage and is easier to maintain.

I have a DGAV 32/36 Weber and, though it has worked fairly well over the last 9 years (it was professionally set up), my next major purchase will be a MYSide for the better mileage AND the service after the sale!

Google "zuks off road"

I hope that this helps!

if you can fab you can save money and do it that way  the harley carb works good.  I lost millage not sure why and top end. but the driveablity is awesome.   I wouldn't go back to a weber for anything.  have had mine almost on its nose  idling.  the weber would of puked out and stalled.
