hey guys, just bought this compass/temp gauge from a local guy here who got it when he bought a vitara half-cut from japan. he is only using the motor, so i bought this thing off him cause i'd never seen one before anywhere.
he said it was fairly well wired into the main wiring harness, so is probably factory.......just wondering if anyone can shed any light on where it might have come from? cause it fits the vitara perfectly, and i haven't seen one before anywhere else in australia.

I've seen it before.
I thought that was the altometer pod thing we had here in the states...on second look i see it's a compass and thermometer, i don't think that was ever offered in the states, good find. i've seen it before though years ago in California when i ran into a bunch of Zuki's gathered in a lot in Lake Arrowhead. they were parked so i've never seen it lit up before, looks cool.

look closer mate, when ya go south of east or west the E,S & W light up on the inside of the circle ;)
