Title: Only 3 inch lift
Post by: Crabzuki on June 03, 2004, 04:12:46 AM
Here's my crabzuki with only 3 inch suspension lift and 32x9.5 TSL Swampers on 15x7 polished aluminum wheels. Tomorrow I think I'll do the body lift, not looking forward to it either having to modify the steering linkage, automatic shifter, transfer case shifter.

Man, I would think that with an auto, it would be easier to lower the tranny hump, than extend all the shifters!

You only need to extend the T-Case,
Trans is a cable shifter

Thanks Wild; it lightens the load of modifications needed.  :)

I remember when my paint reflected stuff :P

Awesome wheels... I like them alot!

About the body lift, how many inches are you planning on doing? With 32x9.50's, I personally would stick with just the suspension and do a bit of trimming to make everything fit... but that's just me, and my Tracker's body is not nearly as nice as yours ;D

Also, I was wondering how hard it was to get that cage in the hardtop? That's the Calmini sport bar, is it not? How'd you get it in there? Were you able to maneuver it in intact?

Nice ride bro! I wish my body looked like that. But then when a tree jumps out at me, It's no biggy. LOL :P

Hey this is what it looks like now; last year a tree jumped in front of me and then I rolled it side over side down a ravine. Thank goodness I found another truck similar to what I had to rebuild upon transfering the goodies to the donor vehicle. As it stands now I figure it's filthy and needs a bath.  ;D

You do not need to do anything with the auto tranny, and the three inch body lift. mine works fine, you will need to extend the transfer case though.
