No. There's a left and a right. The driver side normally goes out first. From what I've heard ;D
-
i know that their is a long one and short one but i want to know if i can put a long one in both sides if i need too.

I dont think so :-/ I accidentally put the short shaft in the long side and was wondering why it was so hard to line up, but once it did, went in real easy. THen I tried to put the long shaft in the short side and it bottomed out before it was fully inserted. After a momentary lack of reason (throwing stuff around the shop, cussing, kicking stuff) because I thought I had to pull the 3rd again to find out what was wron with the carrier, I pulled the shafts back out and realized I had them in backwards :P

I'm not shure just how tight of a fit they are, but you may be able to machine down one to about 1/2 the difference between the two and use it temporarly to get of the trail :-/

No, there is about 1-1/2" difference, good
thing they don't take much room, or just
don't do the stuff that breaks axles

Well, if your name is Eric Bewley, that would pretty much mean you don't drive, huh?
I can't believe that he broke his shaft on that wimpy little rock on Poison Spider!

Hi Bob !!
Ya, it must have been defective

Hey Darrin! How's the trubo? I've been away awhile!
-
Well Sky needs his header back, and I
have the turbo just about ready to install,
so I will be putting it back in tonight, along
with a set of 35 PPH injectors, thanks to shoyrtt
I can't wait, it's like the first time all over again
;D

Where's the love? :) You missed the part the previous day where I was doing 4wd lo burnouts up a steep (~65-70 degree) slick rock cliff. That may have had something to do with the breakage you witnessed...
BTW: Chunk was the only one to make it... That bastard! :)

I wish I had a dollar for every time I've heard "Chunk was the only one to make it". Proof that driving skill rules on the trail!!!!!

I was there and Eric was hopping on it pretty good... we all were. ::) Im positive that the splines got twisted before we ever got to poison spider. I was thinking that the auto would be easier on shafts but I guess not.
