Title: 97 Sidekick Hood Latch?

OK, i have had only 95 and older Sidekicks, and a 99 GV.  A guy asked me where the hood release is on a 97 Sidekick - it's not in the glovebox???

Where the heck is it?

My 97 2wd is in the Glove box. It sits a little higher in the box than my 89, but it's there. I bet someone broke off the handle :-/
