hey folks,
I've got a really stupid problem, when re-installing my steering wheel on my 95 tracker, it is rubbing on the plastic that surrounds the wiper controls and ignition. I think I am missing something that goes between the wheel and the shaft like a washer or something. Does anyone out there have a diagrams or ideas on how I might be able to fix this problem? ???
Thanks in advance for the help.

after some closer inspection I found the root of my problem. What I forgot to mention is I am swapping everything from my 95 tracker into my 89 sidekick. It turns out the steering column from the 95 is an inch or so longer than the one from the 89. So after swapping the column and they peddle assembly everything was good. Why they are a different length is beyond me.
Hope this helps someone in the future.

They are probably trying to screw with you. :)
Does the 95 have airbacks, or where those added in 96?

No bags, must have started in 96.
