alright thank you and yes i have reset the ecm it comes back on after about 2 hours of driving
-
Did you use a genuine Suzuki sensor or an after market replacement?
-
it is an after market sensor from borg

I've no idea of the quality of borg product, and I'm not going to say that the aftermarket sensor is the cause of your problem, but I will suggest that you keep the possibility in mind.
I've seen a number of posts on this (and other) forums, and have personal experience with aftermarket temperature gauge senders being "out of spec" and consequently sending the wrong signals.

Code 15 is coolant temperature sensor low so its not a ground issue. If you have a multimeter then you should check the voltages on the connector. Disconnected you should get 5V on one side and 0V on the other side, when connected the voltage should drop. Also check the resistance of the sensor.
