Title: how to installed a powersteering on a samurai 1.3

I bought the kit for my 1.3 samurai only problem I have id that the pump is to close to the steering box? any suggestion.

The pump will be close to the box but should not touch it. This design is very common and standard.. Assuming your vehicle is stock and the kit was manuf to spec and you have interference issues, it could be because you've got a broken motor mount or something like that.

Have you tried to install it yet?

On this photo from our Reynold's engine article you can pretty much see how tight it does get in there. The kit shown is a Calmini kit but most of the Sidekick to Samurai p/s kits are very similar.

Tks guys for all your help! I found the problem the engine was leaning on the driver side about an in. now its striat fit real good now!
