I have a 96 Geo Tracker. I bought a 95 Suzuki Sidekick for the motor but iam going to rebuild it because it has 194000 miles on it. I was wondering what horsepower upgrades? I was thinking torque cam and bore .020 over. Maybe header.

Header, cam, HC pistons, how much do you want to spend?

not to much but iam totally rebuilding it so. thats what i was thinking torque cam, bore .020 over and cold air intake. maybe header.

When I rebuilt mine I went .030 over, shaved head, and decked block. I tried Hawks cam but we either got a bad grind, or it is too tall. It ended up breaking all the adjusting screws for the lifters twice. They were really good about it and wanted to try out a different cam, but I just wanted to get my car on the road.
I can feel the difference from a stock 16v. It's very snappy and loves to rev, but like any Suzuki 4 cyl it's all top end. I ended up spending about $1800.00 when all was said and done. You could save about $800.00 doing it yourself.

Iam just going back stock. but iam putting electric fans and cold air intake.

You might try port matching the hear and cleaning up the
ports so they flow better, also fix the lip under the valve seats
to prevent turbulence
