zig told me that u had a pic of ur shifter extensions around..i was wondering if u could re-post it for me =)

alright sweet thanks dude...dont know whats going on but im sure when i take it apart ill figure it out

is it possible to drive the car w.o modifing the stock 5spd shifter??

Yes, but modifications to the hole in the floor will be needed.

so ill need to have a ride then so i can take the shifter to a shop to have an extension welded?

also in that pic what part of it is added on? i thought i could just weld a straight peice in

man why cant they just make some kind of bolt on extension! lol

do any of u have a pic of the stering shaft ..so i can see if i have either the slip one or the one that will need to be modified

Extend the shifter at the bottom, below the bend and above the lower knuckle.  Extend it as long as your body spacers are high.  (3"lift = 3" extension)  This helps keep the shift pattern as close to stock as possible.

alright sweet..thanks for the info...can i drive around with the extended shifters??? i will have from sundaymorning at 6am to tuesdaynight at 9pm to get everything done..so i dont want to be shifterless or something when it comes time for work

Yah, I'd think that one could drive with extended shifters, and no body lift installed.
The shifters will be really tall though.

sweet.,...it would only need to be like that for like 2 days if thats what i have to do..im not to worried about it
