hey guys a guy on a local forum to utah here(rme4x4.com) posted this link and I thought I would share it. Im thinking of stripping my flat black rustoleum bedliner off my sami and going gloss black all over with this method.

The more time you spend, the better you can make it look. The only question is how much is your time worth vs spending a bit more on supplies or paying someone.

when I bought my sammi it was faded blue with the factory stripe kit. i peeled the stripes off and sanded it down for paint to stick to. I then painted with gunmetal grey duplicolor rattlecans. As most of you know the body is not real smooth on these from the factory so I left it flat to disguise it. Recently I bought 6 cans of green brown and tan camo paint and used a fern stem and a palm frond to paint it again. Looks great for a cheap low labor paint job.
