Well I found it:
1990 Sidekick, fiber-glass top, 4x4, automatic, NO RUST!
Take a look:

Important thing is my girl-friend likes it (she even said she would like to help washing it...  :D)!
Well, the only problem is that it's, as you can see, purple...  :-/ And I have to say I paid more than I wanted (3275$) But hey, it's in good condition (108 000km) and came with the fiber-glass top. I have NO repairs to do on it for this summer. Although modifiying budget is 0$ for now, I have a solid base to start with.
Plus, when I'm working on one car, I don't have to hurry 'cause I have the other one!
I'm a happy camper!  ;D
What do you guys think?

That's exactly what I thought when I saw that yellow tracker. So I hope to see a purple one that will inspire me soon.
My color preference from best to worst is: Black, blue, yellow, white, teal, purple, pink/magenta. Pink, we wouldn't have bought.
Of course we ALL say that colour doesn't matter. But really, it does. If we don't like it we'll always have a small resentment towards the vehicle. In my case, I think because the truck is in such great condition, it looks good.

No! It's purple! Don't anybody dare say it's close to pink...
purple puddle pounder
LOVE IT! ;D

Looks like ya did good.
The hardtop on there is a good one and adds to the value. The low kms are real good too.
I'd be sure to start sorting it out (routine maintenance stuff). rear diff fluid, tranny fluid/filter, rad flush, tuneup ... I always do that to a used vehicle so at least I know it's been done. Also pull up the rear carpet and make sure the padding is dry (it usually isn't even if the surface feels dry).
Enjoy it and when ya go to make a trail beast, you can do a lot for not much $$$

Nice! www.masterkit1.com you can put a body lift on for cheap here...

Pink, we wouldn't have bought.
Hey Hey Hey! What's wrong with pink?!?!?! I bought a pink one...
But then I covered it in 3 coats of Herculiner roll on bedliner
;D Painted all the jams with Krylon Rust Tough Semi Flat Black. Only left pink is the engine compartment and inside the gas door (I left that on purpose :P). My little trucklet is gonna be undergoing some changes soon though. Gettin new brakes all the way around (if anyone has any how to sites about the rear brakes, please pm me), coil spacers, strut spacers/longer shocks, light bar (3 100w lights), and brushguard (2 100w lights). Fun Fun Fun!! Congrats on the new purchase of the Purple Puddle Pounder (that's allllmost pink ;))
